New Year, New Writing!

I managed to scramble to re-publish a book from waaay back, as an e-book at the end of December. I'm going to dedicate 2026 to a nmber of things, but one of them will be to write. W.R.I.T.E.

I'm working on one Scifi/Fantasy book. It may be a collection of stories. And one book set in England in the Regency era. It may be a novella. Two of my favourite genres to read, so I thought- why not write a book I'd like to read??

I have been doing NaNoWriMo for YEARS! So when November came, and I learnt it had collapsed...I found an alternative to help me do 50,000 words in 30 days. ProWritingAid had a good, helpful website, easy to enter how many words per day done. I found a word tracker thing, similar to Eric Benson's brilliant one from back in the day. I found A.I can be useful for research, editing, doing summaries. It cant really do creative writing per se. I think any totally A.I written fiction will be easily spotted. Dont know if factual books will be different.

So, I'm aiming for 2 books published this year in ebook format. Apart from that, I'll explore turning some of my recent books into print, and audio.

We'll see how it goes.
